Official Chart Show- Clara Amfo

You may have heard that, as of last Sunday, the official Chart Show is no longer presented by Jameela Jamil, but by the equally gorgeous Clara Amfo. Being a big radio and music fan, I of course was listening to Clara's first show at the weekend. I admittedly had high expectations and it's safe to say, I was not disappointed

Clara was amazing! When she started off the show all upbeat and happy, I was really worried she wouldn't be able to keep it up for three hours- but she did! She was entertaining, she was engaging and she was simply a joy to listen to. I was personally, a very big fan of Jameela Jamil and so when I heard she wasn't going to present the Chart Show anymore, I couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. There was however, no need to be. You couldn't even tell it was her first time- the show ran fluently and I cannot wait to hear more from Clara in the future. I can guarantee that I will definitely be a regular listener from this day forward.

It really makes me so happy and proud that the past two Chart Show presenters have been female and to the same standard as all those they have followed from..

Huge congratulations to Clara, to her production team and to Radio 1 for the wonderful show and the excellent choice in presenter. And the biggest goodbye and good luck to Jameela for the future <3
