My Top Albums

I've done a similar post to this for my favourite Albums of 2014 however this time, I'm not restricted by a year. I just want to discuss some of my favourite music albums if that's alright? I've always been much more of an album person than a singles person so it's been really difficult to try and narrow down my favourites but I have done, and now I shall share them with you...
Shall we get the Mcfly and Beyonce ones out the way first? If you've been reading this blog for a while, you may know that I'm a little obsessed with this pair and so I couldn't leave them out of a favourites post, could I?!

My Mcfly choice is an obvious one- it's Radio:Active. Released in 2008, it was and still is the best album the band have ever made! I think it's safe to say that it is the favourite album of most Galaxy Defenders and I am no exception to this trend. It's just a very well-made, well-written, stunning album and I'm forever going back to it.

The Beyonce album of choice is probably not her best- it's I am...Sasha Fierce. I know she's released much better albums, however, I am... is the album that I listened to throughout the majority of my teenage rough patch. The familiarity of her voice and her more soulful songs calm me down whenever I need support and make me feel home.

A very popular album I also happen to love, is + by Ed Sheeran. His albums are always beautiful but I've already written about X so I thought I'd give + a turn. Every song is absolutely gorgeous and I could listen to it every single hour of every single day and not get bored. I truly adore + and I won't stop listening to it for a very long time.

A very underrated album I feel, but I really love Long Way Down by Tom Odell. A few years ago, my mum and I used to have it on repeat in the car and it really reminds me of our lovely sing alongs together on the way to various sporting things and day trips. I'm not always the best at remembering lyrics but I grasped this entire album very quickly and still, to this day, remember the majority of them.

Final album for now is by the gorgeous Paloma Faith. I adore this woman and her voice is absolutely stunning- I can never and will never get bored of it. My favourite album of hers is Fall to Grace, partially because of the beautiful album cover and also because there are some absolutely perfect songs on there.
Favourite Song- Black and Blue

I hope you enjoyed and appreciated my choice of favourites! If you haven't heard some of them, I really recommend you do because they are truly wonderful! Let me know in the comments what your favourite albums are because I'd love to check them out <3

  2. I love Ed Sheeran's + album cause it reminds of his earlier music like Loose Change. I totally agree with you that Tom Odell's album Long Way Down is underrated cause I've listened to most of it and it's brilliant.
