What Kind Of Man

At the time I am writing this, Florence + The Machine's video to What Kind Of Man has just been uploaded onto YouTube and, as I do love a bit of Florence, I thought I'd do a bit of a blog post about..
I'm not going to go into great analytic detail about the video, what I think it means, all the subliminals etc. but I will tell you my views and personal opinions of it and I'll write a little about the song too because I love it!

The song itself is great- I enjoyed it immensely. After just a couple of listens the chorus was on repeat in my head but not in an annoying way- in a way where I wished I was home alone so I could float around the house singing and dancing, pretending I was Florence. It's an awesome song and I can't wait to hopefully hear it on the radio lots.

The video is rather intense at times. There's a few different situations going on, all of which are interconnected and linked together- during all of them, Florence looks stunning of course! It's got deep conversations, very dramatic dancing and relationship scenes and even a very out of the blue car crash (I actually yelped in shock...)- what more could you need in a music video?!

Although I'm not going to personally analyse the video, I did see some comments underneath of what others though it all meant so I'll leave these here in case you're curious:

I hope you enjoyed the song as much as I did- although it is very arty and my mind is no where near developed enough to completely understand the entire story of the video- I still enjoyed it a lot and cannot wait for more music from Florence + The Machine, hopefully in the near future.
